Terms of Service: Officetools-Pro

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing or using the “Officetools-Pro” Google Workspace Add-in (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Officetools-Pro provides a suite of productivity tools for Google Sheets, including but not limited to:

  • Formula Protection: Error-Shield (IFERROR wrapping).

  • Data Cleaning: Clean-Slate, Duplicate Remover, and Case Fixers.

  • Automation: Professional Calendar Export, PDF Auto-Exporter, and Data Validation tools.

  • Integration: Google Translate integration for cell content. The Service is provided as a Google Apps Script extension.

3. Privacy and Data Security (Zero-Data-Transfer)

  • Local Processing: All data processing is performed locally within your Google Workspace environment. We do not transmit, store, or analyze the content of your spreadsheets on external servers.

  • Permissions (Scopes): The Service requires specific permissions to function. These are used solely to execute the commands you trigger:

    • Drive Access: Used only to create a folder and save PDF exports generated by you.

    • Calendar Access: Used only to create events based on your spreadsheet data.

    • External Requests: Used only for secure license verification via Stripe.

4. Subscription and Payments

  • Billing: Premium features require a valid subscription or a lifetime license purchased via Stripe.

  • Automatic Renewal: If applicable, subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

  • Refunds: Due to the digital nature of the Service, refunds are generally not provided once Pro features have been activated, except where required by local consumer law.

5. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for any data you process using Officetools-Pro. We recommend maintaining backups of important documents. While our tools are designed to be safe, we are not liable for any data loss, formula errors, or unintended calendar entries resulting from the use of the Service.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its code, design, and branding, is the intellectual property of Esox Media GmbH. You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal or business purposes according to your purchased plan.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. In no event shall Esox Media GmbH be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including loss of data or profit) arising out of the use or inability to use the Service.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service if these terms are violated or if a subscription payment fails.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Service or legal requirements. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
