Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Officetools-Pro ("the Add-on"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Description of Service

Officetools-Pro is a Google Sheets Add-on that provides data cleaning, error handling, and automation features for Google Workspace users. The Add-on operates within your Google environment and does not store your data on external servers.

3. Subscription and Payment

Officetools-Pro offers both free and Pro (paid) features. Pro features require a subscription managed through Stripe. By subscribing to Pro features, you agree to:

  • Pay the subscription fee as displayed at the time of purchase
  • Provide accurate payment information
  • Authorize us to charge your payment method for the subscription period

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at officetools-pro@esoxconsult.com.

4. Data Access and Usage

Officetools-Pro accesses your Google Workspace data (Google Sheets and Google Calendar) only when you explicitly trigger specific functions. We do not:

  • Store your data on external servers
  • Share your data with third parties (except as required for payment processing)
  • Access your data without your explicit action

All data processing occurs within your Google environment. For more details, please see our Privacy Policy.

5. Limited Use Disclosure

Officetools-Pro's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

6. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Ensuring you have the necessary permissions to use the Add-on with your Google Workspace data
  • Backing up your data before using the Add-on

7. Limitation of Liability

Officetools-Pro is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any data loss, corruption, or other damages resulting from the use of the Add-on. You use the Add-on at your own risk.

We recommend backing up your data before using any data modification features of the Add-on.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Officetools-Pro are owned by Esox Media (Technology division of Esox Consult GmbH) and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to Officetools-Pro at any time, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms of Service.

You may stop using the Add-on at any time by removing it from your Google Sheets.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of any material changes via email or through the Add-on interface. Your continued use of Officetools-Pro after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with Austrian law. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Vienna, Austria.
